Are my notes saved to a server?
No — all notes are stored in your browser's localStorage. Nothing is uploaded or sent anywhere. Your data stays on your device.
Will my notes survive a page reload?
Yes — notes auto-save to localStorage and persist across reloads, tabs, and browser restarts. They will only be lost if you clear your browser data.
Can I use this on multiple devices?
Notes are stored per-device. To transfer notes, use the Export button to save a JSON file, then Import it on another device.
Is there a limit to how many notes I can create?
There's no hard limit, but localStorage typically allows 5–10 MB. That's enough for hundreds or thousands of text notes.
Do I need to create an account?
No — the tool works instantly with no sign-up, no login, and no personal information required.
