Resistor Color Code Calculator
Decode resistor color bands (3, 4, 5, 6-band) to resistance value — or enter a value to find the bands. Includes tolerance and temperature coefficient.

How to read a resistor
Hold the resistor with the tolerance band (usually gold or silver, and often wider or separated) on the right. Read colors from left to right. For 4-band: first two bands are digits, third is multiplier, fourth is tolerance. For 5/6-band: first three are digits, then multiplier, tolerance, and optional ppm/°C (temperature coefficient).
