FAQ

What is CRF in video compression?

CRF (Constant Rate Factor) controls the quality-to-size tradeoff. Lower = better quality, larger file. Higher = smaller file, lower quality. CRF 23 is the H.264 default sweet spot.

How much can I reduce video file size?

Typical results: 50–80% size reduction with CRF 28. A 100 MB video often compresses to 20–50 MB depending on content complexity.
